*Baseball - Struck out 25 batters in a 10-inning game against Flint Central

*Track - Once scored 23 points in one track and field meet

Known as one of the Wolverines' greatest athletes ever

*Earned 8 Varsity Letters- 3 each in football and baseball and twoin basketball

*Two-time All-American Reciever - 1932-33

*Played briefly for the Cincinnati Reds baseball club

*Assistant Coach for the University of South Carolina

*Head Football Coach at Wofford College

*Coached Football, Basketball, Baseball and was Athletic Director
at the University of South Carolina

*Scout for the New York Yankees baseball club

*Retired as Recreation Director fot the South Carolina Department of Corrections
