Saginaw County Sports Hall of Fame Scholarship Criteria
Recipients shall meet the following criteria:
- Graduating high school senior in Saginaw County
- Male or Female
- Must have lettered in a varsity sport in high school for at least two years
- Applicant, parent or legal guardian must be a Lifetime Voting Member of the Saginaw County Sports Hall of Fame
- Must be enrolled full-time at Saginaw Valley State University

Evaluation Criteria
- Financial Need – 25%
- Essay – 25%
- Overall involvement in work, extracurricular activities and community service – 20%
- Letters of Recommendation – 10%
- Citizenship and Character – 10%
- Leadership – 10
